A popular two form entry Primary school based in Gloucester are seeking a Reception teacher to join them in September 2024 on a full-time, permanent basis. The Primary school are looking either for an ECT for an experienced class teacher up to UPS3. This is an ‘Outstanding’ school that have been commended for their ECT induction programmes. There is the opportunity for a more experienced teacher to lead a subject (core). This is an established primary school with a great reputation in the area. The school have relatively small class sizes and offer continuous CPD opportunities for all staff.

As a Class Teacher at this Primary School your role will be to deliver engaging lessons to instil a love of learning in the children. This school is very inclusive and focuses on ensuring that all children have an equal access to learning. The Primary school hope to find a dedicated and talented Reception teacher who has an innovative, forward thinking teaching style. You will be expected to inspire the children alongside managing their behaviour in and out of the classroom. The Primary school only has 23 children on average per class so is relatively small.

The Reception Teacher will be fully supported and ECTs will be awarded additional PPA time.
