Class Lead (SEMH)

Location: Grantham
Salary Scale: £75 to £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP


GSL Education Lincolnshire
is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced  Class Lead with expertise in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) for one of our esteemed client SEN schools in  Grantham . Responsibilities may include:

  1. Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
  2. SEMH Expertise: Utilize your specialized knowledge in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
  3. Leadership: Take on a leadership role within the classroom, guiding and motivating both students and support staff.
  4. Curriculum Implementation: Adapt and implement the curriculum to cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH challenges.
  5. Individualized Support: Provide tailored support to students, recognizing and addressing their unique educational and emotional requirements.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the SEN team, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic and collaborative approach to student development.

Requirements for the role:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with students with SEMH challenges.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve the best outcomes for students.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students, staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for special education and making a difference in the lives of students.
