Job description

To provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence across community settings and on all sites to whom patients, carers, families and staff can turn to for assistance, advice and support. Communicate messages that maybe complex, highly sensitive and highly contentious using persuasive, negotiating or empathetic skills. Respond promptly to all enquiries and address concerns on the spot where possible. Advise the Directorate Manager on formal complaints/incidents with regard to nursing and AHP issues and provide support to Clinical Team Managers when investigating complaints/incidents. Give professional and clinical advice to the Directorate Manager in the planning of new initiatives/service development. To be an active participant in Directorate, corporate and strategic meetings. Work collaboratively with other professionals and support staff to establish multi-disciplinary working arrangements within the service and across the Trust.
