Job description
To ensure continuity of transport operations by providing operational support to the Transport Manager and ensuring compliance with DVSA and the companies legal responsibilities.
Main Duties.
Schedule and book annual MOT’s, maintenance inspections and Tachograph Recalibrations.
Monitor driver hours and infringements.
Review inspection reports and maintain vehicle maintenance records on R2C.
Carry out regular vehicle gate checks to ensure continued compliance.
Monitor, review and investigate accidents and near misses.
Liaising with work shop and ordering spare parts.
Provide cover for the Transport Manager during periods of absence.
Maintaining Dart Charge, Congestion Zone, MID accounts and company spreadsheets.
Other General Responsibilities.
Attend training as required to maintain personal qualification/competence.
Experience.
At least 1 year working in a transport based role.
Transport Manager CPC qualification preferred or willing to work toward qualification.
Driving License with HGV entitlement preferred or willing to work toward to qualification.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
