JOB TITLE: Handyman

LOCATION: Livingston Designer Outlet

CONTRACT: temporary - 3 months minimum

HOURS: 40 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: 5 days out of 7

PAY RATE: £11.97 per hour

JOB OVIERVIEW & PURPOSE:

To ensure exemplary standards in respect of the Maintenance service provided at Livingston Designer Outlet and customer service to the public are always delivered. Fellow colleagues are supported and assisted so that teamwork thrives at the Centre.

The post holder will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest cleaning standards are always adhered to. Professional always and proactively interacting with the public as required. A good team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the Operations and Duty Team. Including, but not limited, repair and preventative maintenance of building fabric and other duties in support of the rest of the team
• To carry out water temp checks, ladder inspections and lift call point checks amongst other duties
• To carry out Joinery / Fabric and basic plumbing
• Gutter and high-level cleaning
• Maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works
• Carry out tasks within typical plantroom environments and at high level, working from platforms and ladders when required
• Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good Knowledge of different skills like painting, plastering, tiling and general tasks round the shopping centre.

· Training certificate which may include IPAF.

· Good customer care skills

· Smart Clean Appearance
