Job Title: Overhead Conveyor Chains Sales Director

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK

Salary: Up to 80,000 per year

Our client, a leading manufacturer of overhead chain and floor conveyor systems located in Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead their Overhead Conveyor Chains division.

Company Overview:

Our client produces a comprehensive range of overhead chain and floor conveyor systems. Under the established brands, they offer 'clean' side–mounted monorail conveyors and versatile 'power and free' conveyor systems. Additionally, their range includes floor conveyor systems such as chain conveyors, pallet conveyors, lineshaft accumulation roller conveyors, zero line pressure roller conveyors, and various horizontal incline and decline belt conveyors. The company also offers a renowned range of belt curves, providing a complete end–to–end turnkey system tailored to suit individual requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
• Manage and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales management, in the conveyor systems or related industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and problem–solving skills.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems and related products is desirable but not essential.
