SEN Nanny Housekeeper/Mothers Help role, 3 days per week in Basingstoke, RG24
An experienced SEN nanny housekeeper is needed to care for a little boy aged 5 years who is pre verbal ASD. Care is required Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 10.30am – 6.30pm throughout the year. The little boy currently attends school for 2.5 hours per day, so the nanny would be required to collect him at 11.30am and take care of him for the remainder of the day. He very much enjoys being outdoors, going to parks, playing in his garden on the trampoline and water table, as well as in his playroom and reading books. The little boy also has an older brother, age 7, however he is in school all day and Mum will do pick ups/care for him so the nanny can just concentrate on the youngest. Although Mum will be around, and is happy to assist if needed, she is very happy for the nanny to be left to their own devices and plan their days themselves. The little boy is very friendly and is excited to meet new people, often leading them straight to his toys and taking their hand to guide them to show his needs. This position would suit someone who is happy, fun, outdoorsy, experienced with ASD and confident in caring for this age group.
