TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a VAT Senior on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in Brighton, Worthing, & Gatwick. Our client is one of the most respected firms of chartered accountants in Sussex; they boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector. These include actors and artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and you-tubers to name a few. You will have exposure to some fascinating work, servicing this prestigious client base.

Responsibilities would include:

• Drafting reports and letters of advice for review by the VAT managers
• Preparing calculations to support VAT advice
• Researching technical matters
• Liaising with clients and attending meetings with other team members
• Ad hoc VAT support for the firm’s diverse client base.
• Preparing VAT returns for businesses with complex VAT affairs such as partial exemption or internal trade
  

Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated tax senior to work within the VAT team of our Tax Advisory Group. The position would suit a motivated dynamic individual who would like to specialise in VAT.

If you have:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good IT skills
• Excellent teamwork and organisational skills, including monitoring timetables and budgets.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
