We are currently recruiting an Assistant Cook to join our team at Green head College, Huddersfield, HD1 4ES

⦁ Full time – 33.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7.10am – 2.15pm

What you'll be doing

• ⦁ Making breakfast and preparing sandwiches/cold food
  ⦁ Baking
  ⦁ Serving and till operation
  ⦁ Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment
  ⦁ Ensure food is correctly stored according to food safety policies and guidelines
  ⦁ Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils
  ⦁ Use a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables and other food
  ⦁ Present and garnish food and portions according to guidelines
  ⦁ Provide excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers and co workers
  ⦁ Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists

Experience

• Catering experience
• DBS checks required
• E learning is available through our online learning system to obtain Food Safety Level 2/3 certificate
