Job description
Rise Up & Walk are looking for someone who has experience in capturing interviews on camera, key moments at events and recording excellent content for our YouTube channel.
What will you be doing?Rise Up & Walk is a project that equips, enables and empowers your girls aged between 8-16 to learn more about untaught black history, express themselves creatively through many different art mediums, learn Critical Thinking skills and meet experts in a plethora of different careers.
We hold sessions and events throughout the year and require someone to film the proceedings, capture testimonials from attendees and share the content with our YouTube Channel Manager.
Attendance is required at all of our main events and dates will be provided well in advance.
You would work closely alongside the Project Co-ordinators, admin and YouTube Channel Manager and would only be required on an ad-hoc basis.
What are we looking for?Our aim is to help the youth see their own potential and use it to change not only their lives, but the lives around them. Your participation and expertise will help us thrive and make our long term growth sustainable, while strengthening our social media presence.
Videography skills are a fundamental part of our project as we receive our funding from BBC Children in Need, who regularly report back how much they enjoy seeing our project develop and grow. We capture footage, not only for our young people to witness and share but also to keep records for the BBC.
Before you applyApplicants will be offered an online Zoom interview. Please contact us via Reach with any questions.
