The role
As a Cost Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll look to enhance project performance and stability through assisting with the collection, analysis, investigation and reporting of meaningful cost information to allow informed decision-making at a program, project and zonal level.

Day to day, you’ll will be supporting the senior cost controller with all aspects of cost control within packages of work. This will include governance and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) advice on cost capture. 

This will include collection, processing and analysis of actuals data; providing multi-layered reporting both internally and externally and providing justification, analysis and recommendations based on data and supporting investigations.  

This role is full time, 36 hours based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard with hybrid working from home arrangements.

Essential experience of the Cost Controller:

Please note that this position is subject to enhanced national security vetting. The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to satisfy Ministry of Defence security requirements (this may include obtaining SC, NNPPI or Developed Vetting (DV) level of security clearances).
