Business Development Manager – Solution Sales/SAAS

Location: Leicester - Hybrid

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09.00: 17.00 (One day per week in office)

Salary: Basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 + Uncapped Commission (Realistic Year 1 OTE: £80,000 - £100,000)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client, a well-established solutions provider, based in Leicester. The company offer a variety of different solutions for the hospitality and leisure industry ranging from business consultancy & training to hardware and software, which will allow their business to run smoothly and efficiently. 

You will be responsible for outbound sales and prospecting, as well as following up on leads.

Personality and resilience are key within this role, as well as a hunger for chasing sales.

The Role:

• As the Business Development Manager, you will Handle inbound enquiries and leads.
• Contact potential customers and convert enquiries to appointments. 
• Book demonstrations
• Outbound dialling to prospect customers
• Use of LinkedIn to chase leads, gain new business and research potential clients.
• Updating CRM to maintain accurate customer data.
• Fact finding regarding potential sales to have professional and purposeful conversations.
• Use of social media, phone, and email to prospect new business.
• Generation of target lists consistently to ensure sales are followed through and all opportunities are explored.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience as a business development manager in a solution based/Sass role is essential.
• You will be presenting their software in person and remotely, so you will need to be tech savvy.
