Robert Half has partnered with a prominent financial services business located in Cirencester to identify a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant. This enticing role offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you the flexibility to be based in Cirencester for two days a week or opt for North Bristol for one day a week, with an additional day in Cirencester. For the right candidate this role offers:
Salary of £52,000 - £56,000 + hybrid working + private medical + 28 hours of holiday plus bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the delivery and oversight of relevant management accounts.
- Lead monthly financial review meetings to ensure comprehensive analysis and reporting.
- Provide essential financial information to Entity Boards for informed decision-making.
- Rigorously review, challenge, and approve monthly controls packs.
- Manage capital management activities for designated entities.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with third-party administrators, overseeing processes, controls, and outputs.
- Lead monthly oversight meetings with third-party administrators, ensuring effective collaboration.
- Take ownership of and deliver relevant entity statutory accounts, managing external audit queries with precision.
- Coordinate and execute regulatory reporting to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
