Job description
Warehouse Operative
Location: Midhurst
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor Employment type: Permanent
Hours of work:
Shifts between 1 pm and 10 pm from Monday to Friday
Job purpose: To assist with all warehouse activities including the responsibility of maintaining accurate stock levels
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist and be responsible for accurate order picking.
To help and support all stock–taking activities and monitoring of stock. Ensuring all relevant record–keeping is updated and maintained
To accurately perform daily rack inspections, immediately reporting any damage
To report any health and safety issues, including any unsafe behaviour in the work environment, complying with company H & S policies and procedures, especially any forklift–related activity.
To load and off–load vehicles including performing the required checks on goods
Issuing materials to production, ensuring full traceability is maintained
Electronic & manual recording of data as required by the role, specific but not limited to the Stock Management System
Attending company–mandatory & role–specific internal & external Learning & Development sessions
