About The Role

We are looking for a Quality Business Partner to join us as we go through an exciting period of growth and innovation.

The Quality Business Partner is positioned within the Kisimul Group Quality Team function, and are aligned to a specific operational area, where they will utilise considerable experience and expertise to support continuous quality improvement, both at local and strategic level.

What you’ll be doing
Supporting the implementation of the Group’s Quality Strategy and working with the operational team to ensure achievement of the annually agreed objectives and audit calendar

Working hand in hand with operational leaders to ensure individual sites are working at their optimal level and giving high quality service that will result in strong stakeholder satisfaction, achievement of individual and service outcomes, and good regulatory ratings

Monitoring and supporting regulatory compliance and quality of care in services to ensure risk is proactively identified and addressed. This includes appropriate and timely escalation of concerns

Promoting continuous learning and improvement, learning from when things go wrong and use information and feedback to facilitate an improvement culture that leads to a continually improving experience and outcomes for people

Promoting a positive culture in services, having the ability to recognise closed cultures and escalating concerns identified to key functions within the business.

Supporting service in the delivery of person-centred care in line with best practice and current guidance

Working intensively with all sites considered to be in ‘turnaround’ to drive continuous and sustainable quality improvement.

Coaching Teams to build capacity and capability to ensure sustained quality improvement.

Delivering, facilitating and participating in supervision as required

Exercising strong practice leadership consistent with the company’s values

What you’ll need

To be a qualified practitioner, clinician or person with significant demonstratable expertise in the leadership and management of children’s social care and/ or education. The postholder will be expected to have held a significant and impactful role in a relevant registered service that was rated at least ‘good, at the time of tenure,’ with the relevant regulator.

Sound knowledge of the needs and relevant best practice and legislation in relation to that care/ support, and /or education of children or adults with autism and a learning disability, and other associated neurodiversity and conditions.

Experience of working at a senior level in education or social care, with a strong understanding of governance, and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance, relevant practice, and risk

A good understanding of the strategic business and organisational context and how they can contribute to its success both at macro and micro level

The ability to horizon scan and have a good understanding of actual and potential/pending risk

Flexibility to develop and implement strategic solutions to issues, but at the same time be able to carry out very detailed coaching and improvement work with individuals

Significant experience of leading and managing quality improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement

Experience of involvement in successful change management programmes that have resulted in achievement of the agreed objectives
