Job description

An Assistant Accountant is sought to join this Manchester based property management company.

On a growth trajectory, the business boasts an impressive commercial property portfolio with a large proportion of clients within retail parks across the north.

With a core focus on social & corporate responsibility , the company continues to donate a percentage of its profits to hep benefit those in need and has funded charitable projects across sport, care, medical research, homelessness, substance misuse and disabilities amongst others.

An opportunity has now arisen for an assistant accountant to join the team in South Manchester.

Reporting into the Finance Manager and ultimately FD, duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Working with the auditors - leading the team. Point of call for all audit related issues
• Presenting financial statements
• Managing junior staff members

YOU:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant
• An audit background gained in practice- first time movers welcome
• Experience producing monthly management accounts
• Supervisory experience desirable
• Good excel skills

This is a hybrid role.
