Within the Model Risk Development team we develop, monitor and maintain risk models (IRB, IFRS 9, Operational Scorecards and Stress Testing).

How you’ll make a difference
The Model Risk Development Senior Analyst is responsible for the development, monitoring and maintenance of IRB, IFRS 9, scorecard and stress testing models. Our modelling activities cover both Retail and Business Banking customers. We work flexibly across projects and many internal and external stakeholders (including regulators), drawing upon a pool of modelling expertise to help deliver against business priorities.

What you’ll bring

- Degree educated within a numeric discipline (e.g. mathematics, operational research, physics, economics).
- Experience of working with financial products, decision tools and/or credit risk modelling techniques.
- Ability to apply numerical techniques to data and interpret trends.
- Experience in communicating complex problems and devising solutions for key stakeholders.
- Extensive working experience of SAS, SQL or something similar to manipulate and analyse data.
