Summary:

Camp 4 Champs is looking for high-energy, enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Support Crew. Support Crew are responsible for helping our Champ Leaders in delivering our multi-sports activity programme, combining different sports and activities for 4 to 14 year olds. Activities include a variety of sports, arts and crafts, cookery, swimming, team building games and lots more! We have sites in Essex, Surrey and Hertfordshire.

Responsibilities: 

• Assisting coaches in the delivery of high-energy, fun, and inclusive sessions that ensure every child is engaged and has lots of fun, regardless of their ability.
• Checking and organising equipment and site
• Setting activity areas up
• General cleaning and tidying 
• Working proactively and collaboratively with your peers

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

• A passion and enthusiasm for, and a minimum of at least 3 months experience of working and or engaging with children aged 4 to 14 years old
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

Desirable:

• A full paediatric first aid qualification
• Ability to perform general cleaning and tidying duties, set up and dismantle activity areas and check equipment is in suitable condition to use
• A knowledge and understanding of our camps structure
• Ability to complete all relevant paperwork, including first aid accident book and the recording of incidents
• Ability to establish a respectful and trusting relationship with children and young people

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position during the school holidays. We are looking for Champ Leaders who can fulfil this role Monday to Friday for a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks in the summer (our busiest season).
