Press Brake Setter/Operator
Location: Accrington, Lancashire, UK
Type: Full-time (4-day week, 38 hours)
Salary: £13 per hour

About the company
Our client is a leading engineering company in Accrington, Lancashire, UK. They are looking for a skilled and experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator to join their team.

The role

• As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Amada press brake machines to produce high-quality metal parts.
• You will work from engineering drawings and be responsible for programming the machines.
• You will also be responsible for working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada press brake machines
• Program the machines to produce high-quality metal parts
• Work from engineering drawings and ensure that all parts meet specifications
• Work with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Requirements
• Experience operating Amada press brake machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
