Job description
What you will do in your working day
- Supporting the Apprenticeship Support Administrator with all aspects of administration,customer service and co-ordinating the wider team’s workflow and activities
- Act as the first point of contact for all apprenticeship enquiries, including maintaining to the apprenticeship's generic inbox
- Receiving telephone calls from staff, students, employers, parents and others, dealing with enquiries where possible or redirecting calls as required
- Assist with co-ordinating the team’s electronic diaries as required, including booking appointments with employers
- Organising facilities and resources for meetings, as required
- Receiving and directing visiting students and employers to the relevant team member
- Updating and using apprenticeship tracking spreadsheets
- Preparing, processing and chasing apprenticeship enrolment paperwork in line with Apprenticeship Funding Rules
- Adding apprenticeship paperwork to DocuSign for electronic signatures
- Maintaining administration supply stock levels
- Organising relevant marketing materials and resources
- Support the Apprenticeship Team to promote apprenticeships within the college and to local employers
- Attend Employer Engagement Team Meetings and Administration meetings as required
- Support internal college events and represent the college at external events as required and coordinate all relevant resources
- Use a range of software programmes to create documents and spreadsheets as required.
- Any other reasonable requests as required by the line manager
The training you will be getting
The apprenticeship training is delivered through a combination of workplace learning and regular Virtual Masterclasses. This training will teach you the knowledge, skills and behaviours set out in the Business Administration Level 3 standard. On completion the apprentice will receive Business Administration Level 3 qualification.
