Job description

A client in Elmbridge, Surrey is looking for a live-out part-time carer to help an elderly person with mobility and provide assistance with the daily living tasks.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 5 hours a day

Duties include:

• organising meals as well as the groceries for the elderly person
• organising and taking the elderly person to appointments
• helping with laundry and ironing
• changing bed linen and making beds
• assisting with bathing and personal grooming
• helping the elderly person manage their budget, pay bills and write letters
• getting to know the elderly person and their interests and needs

The family would like the Carer to start as soon as possible but they are flexible with the start date for the suitable candidate.
