Job description

We are working with a family- owned developer/contractor that has a history of delivering projects across London and neighbouring areas. They have a strong portfolio of work with a number of repeat clients and take pride in delivering projects at a higher standard. They are now looking for a Senior Technical Coordinator to add to their team. We are keen to hear from Technical Coordinators, Design Managers and Technical Managers.

To start with you will be based on a project in South East London, which is due to start on site in the next few months but you need to be prepared to work across London moving forward.

Responsibilities:

• Manage technical aspects of the project from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design compliance and coordination.
• Review and manage technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Oversee the resolution of technical issues during construction.
• Liaise with the construction team to ensure smooth implementation of technical requirements.
• Monitor quality control and compliance with building regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
• Attend and contribute to project meetings as required.
• Manage communication between internal and external stakeholders regarding technical matters.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with a main contractor or developer.
• Demonstrable experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of high-rise residential projects.
• Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes.
• Ability to interpret and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Proficient in relevant software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, etc.).
• Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
