Job description: Synchronised Solution is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated veterinary surgeon to work and lead a established small animal veterinary practice in Dorking, Surrey. To be considered for this role you will should have a minimum of three years continuous experience of working in a small animal practice ideally as a lead veterinary surgeon. Besides being a very confident and experienced veterinary surgeon, you also must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the practice. The successful candidate will be joining a small but dedicated team which consists of 1 full time vet and 1 part time vet, 1 RVN and 1 SVN. The practice is equipped with a digital X-ray but has access to a wider range of services such as ECG, CT imaging, endoscopy and dentistry as its only a short distance to a nearby 24 hour hospital. To be considered for this position you must have keen interest in surgery and be confident to work sole charge. Certificate study is actively encouraged and fully funded, and there are partnership opportunities for the right candidate. This role covers 39 hours a week over a 4 day shift pattern, offering an attractive work-life balance. This pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.
Location details: The veterinary practice is located in the market town of Dorking in Surrey. Surrounded by the beautiful Surrey Hills. There are excellent arts and crafts shops, boutiques, art galleries, jewelers, interiors and furnishing specialists sitting alongside eclectic vintage shops and fabulous antique centres. The practice is only a 15 minute drive to the M5 motorway and a 10 minute walk to Dorking West train station.
Salary and benefits: There is on offer a very competitive salary package up to £65000 which includes a generous accommodation allowance of £9000. A car is also provided or allowance as well as generous CPD with three days paid, CPD leave and in house training allowance as well as paid VDS, RCVS, BVA fees.
