Exciting times lie ahead at this import / export company in Blackpool. An increase in sales has led to the creation of a newly created position as Company Accountant.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will take sole charge of the accounting function and with the help of an Accounts Assistant be responsible for :

• Preparation of the accounts including monthly accounts / year end reporting / providing commentaries
• All HMRC enquiries including VAT submissions, payroll submissions
• Provide sales / margin analysis
• Bank relationiship building
• Cashflow and currency exchange.
• Responsible for Directors personal finances - loans insurances etc

Within the next 12 months my client is looking to implement a new ERP System into the business and as Company Accountant you will take an active role within this project.
