Job description
We are looking for a Team Administrator who will be able to ensure a confidential, efficient, and comprehensive administrative service is provided to the Assertive Outreach Mental Health Team
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hard-working. You will have good customer care communication skills, an excellent telephone manner, attention to detail, the ability to cope with complex tasks using a database that requires input and questioning of client information, and previous experience working in a busy office environment. You must be able to work accurately under pressure, whilst remaining calm and courteous and be able to work well as part of a team.
The post holder will be based predominately at Hahnemann House in Bournemouth although at times may be required to provide admin support to other parts of the service based elsewhere across the county. The individual will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Mental Health Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychology Assistants, Support Time Recovery Workers, Social Workers, Care Managers, Admin Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Medical Staffing.
To ensure the provision of an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support including dealing with telephone enquiries, relatives, carers, GPs and other agencies, maintaining good communications between staff members of the Trust and outside representatives using own initiative and managing own workload with support for other colleagues within the admin pool and the wider team.
To provide a friendly, safe and efficient administrative and office systems service to support the delivery of excellent patient care.
To ensure that patients and contacts with the service are dealt with in a friendly, empathetic and professional manner and to help ensure that the patient’s experience is positive.
To deal with confidential, contentious and urgent material proactively in a sensitive and appropriate manner, exercising analytical skills and sound judgement.
Work as part of an efficient and professional team.
To work systematically and develop communication networks that contributes effectively to the service provided.
