CATERING MANAGER
Term Time Only (plus 5 training days)
37 hours per week term time only. Hours are negotiable.
Required for April 2024
Level 4B Point Range 15 - 18 depending on experience.
£27,803.00 - £29,269.00 pro rata (Actual salary range will be £24,208.00 - £25,484.00)
We wish to appoint a flexible, hardworking individual as a Catering Manager. You will be responsible for the smooth running of three busy school canteens and managing a team of staff. The role includes a range of duties and a great opportunity for a hard-working and friendly team player who is able to demonstrate:

● An understanding of Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations

Working in a school requires you to have strong organisational and communication skills. There will be face-to-face interaction with students and members of staff. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are important. Relevant experience is essential for this role.
A visit to see the school canteens is encouraged and will form a key part in the interview process.

Redborne is a successful school on a spacious and pleasant campus near the market town of Ampthill in Bedfordshire. We achieve excellent examination results with about three-quarters of students typically gaining Maths and English at grades 9 – 4. ‘A’ Level results are also very good with over half at ‘A*’, ‘A’ or ‘B’ grades and an overall pass rate of 99.9%. About 80% of the Sixth Form go on to university and each year a number of students get into Oxbridge. The school is well regarded, oversubscribed and situated in a very pleasant area of Central Bedfordshire, within easy reach of London. The campus includes a state-of-the-art 400 seat theatre and Sixth Form social area. In the next few years the school is likely to expand to 1,700 with 500+ in the sixth form.
