Production Controller | Print / POS | £35,000 - £38,000 | Enfield North London
Our client are one of the leading producers of retail print, focusing on customer service and manufacturing excellence, they are looking to strengthen their fantastic team with an experienced Print Production Controller as they continue their company growth.
About the Production Controller role:
- Work with the Account Management team and the Production Manager and Team Leader to ensure that you receive the required standard of brief, understanding client expectations and what is required to deliver on those expectations;
- Ensure you manage the operational process of product manufacturing and ensure that you maximise efficiency;
- Ensure you meet or exceed customer expectations
- Understand current jobs, minimizing production costs and timings, reducing both material and time wastage involved in the quote through to complete production;
- Commit to a thorough and clear communication loop with the Account Management team and the client, updating with job progress, errors and mutually beneficial solutions
- Responsible for effective management of outsourced permanent POS
- Ensure that your personal knowledge is up to date on MIS systems, product, material and technical processes development
Experience needed for Print Production Controller role:
- Strong Print production knowledge ( Ideally Digital / Litho / Screen )
- Experience of using Tharstern or similar MIS
- Print related project management / Production Control environment
- Estimating print
- POS (Point of Sale) knowledge very advantageous
