Job description

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is looking for an experienced Change Manager to play a pivotal role in managing the end-to end change process, ensuring successful implementation and sustained benefits realisation across the programme and project portfolio.

This position is within a developing Programme Management Office team which sits within the Chief Executive Directorate and offers exposure to diverse projects impacting all facets of the organisation. Alongside delivery change you will contribute to maturing our change capability, shaping methodologies and approaches.

Successful candidates will have:

Demonstrable experience in the role of Change Manager
Ability to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
Proven experience of defining change and engagement strategies
Be adaptable, with experience of working in a set up environment and navigating ambiguity as processes evolve
Experience in delivery change management initiatives to embed new ways of working
Understanding of project management methods, tools and software.
Certification in change management (e.g., APMG Practitioner, Prosci or ACMP)
The position is a hybrid role combining office and home working.
