The coordination of the clinical education and training of CT Radiographers. The post holder will be expected to develop and maintain a high personal standard of clinical and managerial excellence. Furthermore they will be required to undertake education and training as required. In line with the Clinical Governance framework they will seek to continually improve service quality. Excellent clinical skills in Computed Tomography and associated imaging, training and assessment, leadership, communication, counselling, presentation, and team skills will be important in this post. The post holder will have a role as both supervisor and supervisee in line with the Regional Allied Health professions Supervision Policy. In addition the post holder will coordinate both Supervision and Appraisal for the entire CT team ensuring targets are met. The post holder will assist in preparing the Radiology Department for external inspections such as RQIA as required. Responsibilities

• Planning, organisation and implementation of the CT training programme in liaison with CT Team Lead Radiographers
• Promote an effective learning culture with the CT Department to provide high quality patient care.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 5 years Post graduation experience to include: 3years experience in CT at Band 6 Level.
• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic in Radiography Or Diploma of the College of Radiographers,(Diagnostic) London (or Equivalent) Post Graduate Qualification in CT

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in Management Role
• Additional Relevant Post graduate qualification
