Job description
The support services manager will lead their team to ensure our customers have clean and well presented facilities, so good they leave with a positive lasting impression and tell others how good their experience was.
They will interact with the Operations and Facilities teams to ensure understanding of the business’ need and deliver service which exceeds expectation and supporting all Gloucester Services sites. The support services manager will monitor and manage all cleaning activities across Gloucester Services, ensuring they are meeting the necessary standards, regularly review existing service provisions to ensure they are still meeting business need in line with budgetary requirements and ensure all staff are encouraged and motivated, and feel supported and valued in their working environment.
Your responsibilities will include;
- To maintain the main buildings, car parks and petrol filling station buildings within the site to an appropriate standard both internally and externally, including cleaning, traffic management and site security.
- To order stock and equipment in line with budgets, regularly review costs and improving profitability where possible
- To ensure monthly reports, audits and any other paperwork or documentation is produced in a timely manner.
- To ensure all site information is maintained and updated in accordance with procedures and is legally compliant in relation to Health and Safety and support the Head of Safety and Quality with any on site administration and follow-up.
- To be responsible for reception administrator, external visitors, and site enquiries.
- Manage the drivers and Gloucester food-van maintenance and schedule.
- To be responsible for the automated cash machines, including daily counts, vouchers, maintenance and investigations.
- Manage and lead your team, including training, dealing with any people issues and ensuring payroll and other systems are updated and completed accurately and in a timely manner. Closing date for applications 8th March 2024
