Franklin College is a thriving, successful sixth form college serving North East Lincolnshire and the surrounding rural and coastal area, with around 1700 full-time 16-18 and 500 part-time adult students. SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE DEVELOPER – FULL TIME – PERMANENT
This is an exciting opportunity to join our MIS and Exams Department. The role of Systems & Software Developer is pivotal to the success of the College to develop reporting tools, web applications and other applications to improve college processes and information provided to staff and students. In addition, to lead on the areas of development of systems in the absence of the MIS and Examinations Manager, as and when required.
We are looking for an organised and conscientious individual, with strong data management skills, to take a leading and proactive role in the development, maintenance and enhancement of college systems, databases, and web-based portals.
Experience working with and managing large volumes of data including SQL databases, web development technologies ideally ASP.net in C#, along with Javascript/JQuery is essential. Excellent English and Maths skills are also required.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday all year round. You may occasionally be required to work evenings and weekend for college is essential.
The salary range for this role is SFCA Support Staff pay points 22 – 25 (currently £36,417 - £39,321) full time equivalent. The starting salary will be dependent on experience.
