YOU MUST BE A QUALIFIED OPTOMETRIST REGISTERED ON THE GOC.
My client has a very successful practice in the area with their main focus has always been the quality of the customer journey and with this in mind they now require a newly qualified or experienced optometrist who can grow with the practice.
They have an enviable reputation as well as one of the most experienced and well respected owners in the industry and have created a very close knit team who all work together towards keeping up the success of the practice.
This is a full time opportunity with a market leading opticians in a prime location in the Ipswich area.
This practice is situated in a major shopping area and benefits from being the opticians of choice for the local community. They require an optometrist who has experience of working in a busy practice and team environment and can deliver on conversions and clinical excellence. The role required a 20 minute tester or on the way to achieving this and comfortable doing contact lens work.
The role will be delivering eye tests to a high standard with some contact lens work undertaken. You will be expected to make recommendations to patients and complete professional and accurate handovers to the support team.
Requirements of the Optometrist You will be GOC registered and full CET accredited and happy to test to 20 minutes and have sound clinical skills and strong commercial awareness.
They are open to any levels of experience as it is more about your commercial awareness and clinical skills. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
My client is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 with additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity for ongoing personal development.
