Are you an avid user of QuickBooks? We are proud to be recruiting a Bookkeeper for our well-established client based in Rochester, Kent.

JOB TITLE: Bookkeeper

LOCATION : Rochester
SALARY : £14.00 - £15.00 per hour

START: ASAP

TERM : Temporary (with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate)

HOURS : Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (35 hours per week)

If you're a skilled Bookkeeper who is immediately available and seeking a new opportunity, we'd love to hear from you. You should have a deep understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, and accounts processes. Our client is looking for someone who has experience using QuickBooks.

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

• Using your attention to detail when Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards and other accounts on a regular basis


• Preparing and checking sales invoices


• Using QuickBooks software to accurately enter financial transactions


• Updating reports for management meetings


• General bookkeeping of annual accounts and VAT return preparation


• Allocating payments and carrying out credit control


• Preparing financial statements

We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

• Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook


• Experience using QuickBooks accounting software


• Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing


• Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently


• Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
