Location: Rearsby, Leicester (onsite parking available)

Contract – 12 Months FTC

Hours: 21 hrs per week – Monday to Wednesday

Job Purpose:

To assist the surety claims team by providing administrative support in processing claims. No previous insurance experience required as full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities :

• Confirming insolvency events and identifying bonds with exposure
• Issuing demand letters to indemnitors and tracking responses
• General administration
• Setting up and paying claims using bespoke IT system
• Handling general email and telephone queries
• Management of paperless filing system
• Mathematically checking claims
• Assisting with audits and auditor’s requests
• Other reasonable duties as instructed by the Claims Manager

Skills and Experience Specification:

• Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths & English at grade 4/C or above
• Good written and verbal skills
• Confident telephone manner and clearly spoken
• Word Processing & spreadsheet skills & working knowledge of Microsoft tools
• Good organizational skills
• Able to work to deadlines
• High a ttention to detail with data entry, numbers and reviewing documents.
• Previous experience in an administrative role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• An appreciation/understanding of insolvency and associated procedures
• Non-contributory pension
