Our client operates successfully within high volume fast moving operation and due to a significant growth across all aspects of the business, they are now recruiting for an experienced Stock Control Lead/ Inventory Manager.

The role:

The Stock Control Lead will be responsible for a team of 4 and the monitoring and reporting on the company’s inventory. This is an important job role since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals. You will be expected to interact with buying team as an when necessary, with little to no involvement on stock purchasing and out of stocks therefore and experience communicator is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Production of daily and weekly reports to help aid smooth- running warehouse operationsTrack and report on warehouse utilisation, highlighting any potential areas for concern.Examine the stock reconciliation reports for significant modifications of high value, reporting and rectifying any discrepancies that occur.Identify and draw attention to possible areas for improvement within the operation.Reduce stock loss through proactive management of system and physical stock records alignment.Forecast supply and demand to gather data that will help the organisation maintain the supply chain more effectively.Update Article Master Data information frequently to support efficient warehouse operations as well as their in-house WMS. A volume of c4000 SKUs.Complete detailed stock reports, maintaining up-to-date, reliable inventoriesIdentifying the appropriate storage location for products taking into consideration daily usages and ensuring the use of free space is maximised for bin optimisationStock and rotate inventory regularly ensuring it is in accordance with FEFOBuild rapports with colleagues, other departments and suppliers through courteous and professional communications.Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventoryReport to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.Ensuring product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct

demand from customers.

About you:

Have excellent knowledge in excel and warehouse management systemsProven experience as an inventory managerHave exceptional communication and collaboration skills to aid team success against warehouse targetsWorking knowledge of inventory management softwareExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
