Salary: £165.00 per day

To provide additional capacity within Children’s Social Care to assist Recruiting Managers with all elements of recruitment. Be the first point of contact for recruitment and resourcing enquiries and advice from Recruiting Managers (Team Managers and Heads of Service) within Children’s Social Care (CSC). ·
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and enjoys working with people, to provide a flexible and fully coordinated resourcing support to Children’s Social Care under the direction of Leadership Team, working with members of the HR Team. ·
Managing the end-to-end process of recruitment from the point of resignation and permission to recruit (for the budget holder) to start date for the candidate. · Advertise roles promptly, respond to applications promptly and personally, set up shortlisting for the Recruiting Manager of any applications that meet the essential criteria and deal with those that do not. Set up interviews in a timely way and ensure that HR progress contracts swiftly once an offer is agreed. · Ensure that start dates are distributed, so that meet and greet/induction etc is effective from day 1. ·
Manage iWork’s and Matrix as necessary. · Support and contribute to a range of resourcing campaigns and initiatives which will support the teams to resource and secure skills and talent in line with the council’s resourcing strategy.
· Be creative in advertising. · Work in partnership with the Communications Team developing new campaigns as required.
· Maintain and produce relevant resourcing, recruitment and agency data as required. · Contribute to the overall reduction in reliance on agency and the development of a permanent and diverse workforce.
· Keep live information on vacancies and those recruited to, not yet started. · Supporting the regional MOU work.
Competence Summary
Experience of working in a fast-paced recruitment and or resourcing environment.

Experience of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Power Point.

Excellent customer service skills and good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to use own initiative and work daily without supervision.

Tenaciousness, empathy and compassion.
