Job description
We are currently seeking a Sales Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Bromsgrove. You will be responsible for winning new business, developing relationships with customers and growing Sales and GP.
As a Sales Executive, you will work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication, sales and negotiation skills and be customer focused.
Key Responsibilities....
- Visit customers when the opportunities require a face-to-face meeting
- Develop positive long-term relationships with clients
- Ensure customer enquiries and requests for quotations are dealt with quickly and effectively
- Proactively follow up enquiries and quotations
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
- Other sales duties and cover when required
- Outgoing telesales calls to new prospects and existing customers to generate new business and retain existing busines
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in Sales, particularly generating new business over the telephone
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude – even when you experience repeated ‘knock-backs’
- Warm, friendly and empathetic attitude with the ability to build loyal and long-standing customer relationships
- Team player who goes the extra mile
- Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer service
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- An ability to respond to enquiries quickly, efficiently and accurately
Hours: Mon – Friday 8.15am – 4.45pm (degree of flexibility)
