We are looking for a Regional HR Advisor to provide professional and comprehensive HR support to this great education and training schools academy trust across Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the HR strategy, managing employee relations, and ensuring that our schools have access to expert HR guidance
Job Description
Regional HR Advisor - Schools Key Responsibilities:
- HR Advisory Services: Provide HR advisory services to schools within the region, including guidance on employee relations, employment law, performance management, and HR policies and procedures.
- Talent Acquisition: Assist with the recruitment process, ensuring that schools attract and retain top talent by posting job advertisements, conducting interviews, and contributing to the selection process.
- Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters professionally and impartially, mediating disputes and fostering positive working relationships.
- Policy and Compliance: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of employment laws, regulations, and our organization's HR policies, ensuring compliance in all HR activities.
- Training and Development: Identify HR training needs, plan and deliver training sessions to school staff and management as needed.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports, and ensure data privacy and security in HR functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in HR process improvement initiatives, suggesting innovative solutions to enhance HR operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
The Successful Applicant
Experience and characteristics required for this Regional HR Advisor - Schools;
- Experience in Human Resources. HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is a plus.
- Proven experience in HR advisory roles, preferably in an education setting.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
