Job description
A market leading business are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on the outskirts of Ipswich. This role would suit someone with a broad accounting knowledge, ideally who is actively studying ACCA/CIMA and who is a good team player. Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end closing including balance sheet reconciliations for all areas including calculating, posting and reconciling accrued and deferred revenue
- Be aware of intercompany transactions and the impact on the financial statements and be able to reconcile between intercompany accounts
- Review, raise and verify client invoices, upload invoices into financial system
- Process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure payments are up to date
- Maintain vendor files and liaise with vendors as needed, resolving queries
Requirements:
- Bookkeeping experience and knowledge month end accounting
- CIMA or ACCA studier preferred
- MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Organised worker
- Good attention to detail
