Management Accountant
Salary: £48,000 - £52,000

Robert Half are currently working with a privately backed property start-up specializing in prime residential property and new developments.
Due to growth within the business, they are looking to hire a talented Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. This position will be full-time in office.
Role
The Management Accountant will be hands-on with supporting the month-end, transactional and management account processes. They will take on a number of key duties including:
- Ownership of the AP and AR function with support from the finance Manager.
- Processing of timely payments and reconciliations
- Preparation of Monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet, Variance analysis, KPI reporting.
- Preparation of Timely Cash flow reporting, to enable timely funding requests.
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT return.
- Maintain and develop working relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, advisory firms etc.
- Support with system upgrades and improvements.
Profile / Requirements
The ideal profile for this Management Accountant role should have the following attributes:
- Experience in real estate / agency brokerage desirable
- Finalist/Part Qualified Accountant - ACCA/CIMA
- Strong experience of IFRS.
- Intermediate to advanced use of Excel and financial modelling.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-growing environment.
- Strong work ethic and good culture.
- Team leader, ability to manage team of client and management accountants.
- Strong communication skills, strong initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Salary & Benefits
£48,000 to £52,000 plus benefits including:
