Job description
Are you an enthusiastic, motivated childcare practitioner looking for your next opportunity in a wonderful nursery team in the Harrogate area? We are looking for qualified Childcare level 2 or level 3 staff.
++ Full/Part Time Nursery Assistant - £11 - 12.33/hour (up to £82.50 - £92.48per day/ £412.50 - £462.38 per week)
Main Responsibilities
- to provide excellent standards of care to babies and children under 5 years
- to supervise and interact with the children, prioritising their safety and wellbeing above all other tasks
- to champion the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and according to Ofsted requirements
- to provide excellent levels of communication to staff and colleagues
- to be confident speaking to parents and carers about their children's day within the setting
- to provide for personal routines and meal times, contributing to clean and hygienic standards
- to bring ideas and enthusiasm to enhance the children's play and learning opportunities
- to adhere to the settings policies and procedures to maintain the wellbeing of all children
- to actively seek opportunities to develop professionally
- to lead by example, creating a welcoming an inclusive environment

We are looking for enthusiastic, capable childcarers to join our Tinies Temp Team. We would love to hear more about your childcare experience and your skills. You will join our fantastic team of teachers, nannies, nursery practitioners, college and university students, support workers, sports leaders, performing arts tutors, and early years professionals providing amazing care in nursery or creche settings with children predominately aged 0-5 years. We have work available during weekdays, with various hours to suit.
Being able to drive is a plus, but not essential as long as you are able and flexible to travel in the local area. You will build experience and references, and we can support you to find a permanent position if you decide you'd like a more fixed role.
Support can be given to obtain a DBS and Paediatric First Aid certificate, as well as further training available for CPD and childcare qualifications if interested in building your career.
