Lead Environmental & Sustainability Advisor
Chatham - Kent
£50,000 - £54,000 + benefits  

We are currently working with a leading construction business, who have a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Environmental & Sustainability professional to join their team. 

The Lead Environmental & Sustainability Advisor will be responsible for:

Undertake complex environmental assessments and produce plans in-line with the environmental management system.

Manage a small team (Environmental Advisor and Senior Environmental Advisor), providing them with great mentoring and technical advice.

Ensure work is carried out in accordance with legal requirements and provides protection to the environment.

Drive the provision of accurate environmental data by undertaking monitoring, analysing and reporting of environmental performance.

Carry out inspections and audits in-line with ISO 14001, permits and environmental legislation, ensuring any non-conformance and improvement recommendations are recorded and actioned.

The Lead Environmental & Sustainability Advisor will have:

Experience leading teams.

Expert knowledge of environmental legislation that is relevant to the civil engineering and/or utilities industries.

Experience of managing complex environmental projects including data management and reporting.

Experience leading investigations and presenting findings and recommendations.
