National Express are looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst, based at our Head Office in Digbeth. The successful candidate will provide Business Analytical support of Commercial activity in relation to revenue, pricing, e- commerce and marketing. Provide the business with an understanding of its revenues and volumes in relation to e-commerce, pricing and marketing activities. Apply this to help inform decisions and make recommendations that drive revenue growth.
What you'll do:
- Analysis of all revenue, marketing and e-commerce metrics generated by National Express Coach to accurately identify reasons for change and opportunities for growth
- Accurate and timely reporting of revenues, volumes, capacity, utilisation etc. to NX management and executives on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis. This to include production and distribution
- Support the wider Commercial team in the compilation of budgets and key performance indicators for all commercial metrics
- Forecasting/Prediction of revenues, volumes, utilisation etc. to inform the business on strategic pricing and capacity strategies
- Day to day updating and management of commercial data and information
- Management and enhancement of the NX Competition Monitor, Disruption Tracker, Weekly revenue monitor, etc
What you'll need:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent with preference in Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Business Studies
- Strong MS Excel skills as a prerequisite; Tableau experience desired
- Logical thinker with excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience of presenting to the senior management team
- Able to manage own time and prioritise work
- Good team worker, but also capable of working alone
- Experience in analysis in the business environment desired
