RT Consulting are an ERS award winning consultancy that drives innovation and transformation in key sectors, including Defence, Local & Central Government, Policing and Transport.

We currently are looking for a Procurement Director based in the Northeast for a 5 year programme.

Your primary objective of the role is to ensure successful development and delivery of a new service arrangement from the expiry of the existing contract, which is scheduled to finish in May 2029.

Our Associates are challenged to bring expert knowledge and creativity to our programmes to drive sustainable and long–term change. We are expanding our RT Society of interim Associates as a result of our continued success across our UK portfolio.

Our Associates are an important part of our company and RT Consulting, as we have recently secured several prestigious opportunities to deploy capability across several of our programmes.

We are looking for experience across the following:

• Experience in large–scale waste management procurement projects.
• Development of a detailed programme plan.
• Provide direction to the programme team.
• Ensuring the programme is adequately resourced and effective risk management arrangements are in place.
• Stakeholder management.
