This role is offered as a hybrid role working from either our Norwich or London offices, whilst working with our global client services teams based in Norwich, London, Oxford and the US (5 offices). You’ll need a first-rate understanding of digital marketing strategy and be an expert client handler, able to juggle multiple large accounts across time zones and develop and nurture relationships that drive growth. You’ll be able to step into a Senior role within a busy team, helping manage a group of skilled Client Account Handlers – both formally and informally. It’s absolutely essential you have experience of working in fast-paced agency environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Main point of contact between a portfolio of global clients – many of which will be large, enterprise organisations - and our internal delivery teams (Paid Digital, SEO, CRO, Data, Content Marketing, and Digital PR), managing the delivery of best-in-market digital strategies to achieve client business goals.
- Providing first-rate support to the Associate Director, Client Services, to lead, manage and develop the careers of a team of six digital marketing Account Handlers.
- Generating agency growth (whether cross-sell, up-sell, or increased investment in core services) across your client portfolio through operational excellence, opportunity spotting and strategic thinking.
- Independently crafting commercially-minded digital marketing strategies for some of the agency’s largest and fast-paced clients.
- Leading delivery teams in the execution of these strategies, often across different time zones
- Pivoting and enriching campaigns independently based on performance and/or environmental opportunities and challenges that emerge
- Taking financial ownership of the clients you work on, ensuring accounts and projects are profitable
Skill Requirements:
- Exceptional client management skills with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role in a fast-paced agency setting. We will also consider client side experience so long as you have previously worked within an agency in your career to date.
- Strategic ability to plan for the longer term as well as day-to-day challenges
- Proven ability to generate commercial growth, ideally in an agency Account Management function
- Confidence in presenting to clients and handling difficult situations that may arise
- Exceptional financial acumen
- Excellent line and people management skills, able to mentor, manage and develop direct reports and junior colleagues
- Hands-on experience of digital marketing channels – PPC, Social and Digital PR would be ideal
- Experience in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
