Job description

Dallamires Stables is a large show jumping yard based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Home of George Whitaker and his wife Michaela.
We are looking for a Yard Manager to help assist the running of the yard at home. General yard duties such as mucking out, turning in and out, grooming etc. Managing the team of grooms, setting and seeing over their daily tasks. Handling young horses including foals and stallions. Clean driving license. Driving of the 3.5tonne box. Long reining and lunging. Clipping, trimming and bandaging. Administrating medications
Driving of the tractor to harrow arenas etc. working alongside vets, blacksmiths etc. For the right candidate there could be the possibility of riding young horses but this isn’t a necessity.
