Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging Maths lessons for students in accordance with the school's curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their academic growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' attendance, grades, and behavior
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience as a Maths teacher, preferably in a primary or secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Dedication to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational trends and research
