Our Client is a leading bespoke joinery company specializing in crafting high-quality, custom woodwork. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a CNC machinist to join their specialised team and enable full utilisation of their brand new, 5-axis SCM machine..
Responsibilities:
CNC Programming: Utilize your expertise in programming CNC machines.
Collaboration: Work closely with design and production teams to interpret technical drawings and develop efficient CNC programs that meet the project specifications.
Toolpath Optimization: Implement effective toolpath strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize waste during the machining process.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on machined components to ensure they meet our high standards of craftsmanship and accuracy.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve programming and machining issues promptly to maintain a smooth production workflow.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling information, and setup instructions for future reference.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a joinery or woodworking environment.
Programming Skills: Proficient in CNC programming.
Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of joinery and woodworking processes, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs to achieve the desired quality and efficiency.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, precision-crafted products.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues from various departments.
Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and processes in CNC machining
