We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a male in his late teens who lives with his family in Rochdale and requires support throughout the day and night to support his complex care needs on a 2:1 basis.
He is a very cheerful young man who loves to socialise and be out and about in the community. He enjoys attending hydro pool sessions, listening to all kinds of music, and exploring a variety of sensory activities.
Our dedicated care team will support our vibrant teenager with his complex care needs, ensuring every moment is filled with joy and possibilities.
Your role throughout the day will be to provide support with his daily tasks including personal care, moving, and handling, being vigilant, making close observations, and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will be required to assist him with enjoying his hobbies, interests and accessing social activities.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care, repositioning, regular monitoring and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night’s sleep, offering reassurance and comfort when needed.
Our service user is non-verbal and communicates using sounds, gestures, and facial expressions. It is important you become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and want are met. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.
We strive to enhance the independence and quality of life of our service users. Our care packages are designed to empower them to live life to the fullest, with dignity and confidence.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx.£52.00 per 4-hour shift)
Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £121.50 per 9-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx.£126.00 per 9-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (Approx.£144.00 per 9-hour shift)
