Support worker required – NW9
A 20 year old young man with cerebral palsy requires an enthusiastic support worker to support him with his independent daily living skills in his own home in NW9. The support worker will work as part of a team to support the young man with budgeting, planning, meal planning and preparation, physical activity and his therapy programme. An interest in football and keeping fit would be an advantage.
Hours of work – ·Monday 2.30pm – 5.30pm
·Tuesday 2.30pm-5.30pm
·Wednesday 10am – 2pm
·Thursday 2.30pm – 5.30pm
·Friday 10am – 2pm
·Alternate Saturdays 10am – 6pm
Rates of pay - £15.00 per hour weekdays, £17 per hour weekends
Qualifications – previous experience of working with adults with additional needs is preferred.
All training will be provided
Due to the nature of this role an Enhanced check with the Disclosure & Barring Service will be required.
